ORDER / RESOLUTION 19-06-18-02/ In the Matter of Adopting the 2019-2020 Lane County Budget, Making Appropriations and Imposing and Categorizing Taxes. (Christine Moody, Budget & Financial Planning Manager)
| Motion | The vote on the Motion to reconsider the vote to remove AOCC from the budget was taken. Motion by Farr, Second by Bozievich. The vote to keep the funding for AOCC in the budget failed 2-3 (Farr, Bozevich voting yes. AOCC will be removed from the current budget. Commissioner Buch made a motion to approve the budget as presented, seconded by Sorenson. Bozievich (Farr 2nd) amended the motion to add a budget note to bring AOCC item back for reevaluation in six months. That motion failed 2-3 (Farr, Bozievich voted yes). Commissioner Bozievich (Farr 2nd) also amended motion to add a budget note that says if the state provides the level of current proposed funding from the CCA, Lane County will opt out of providing P&P services at the end of the FY 19/20. Commissioner Bozievich removed his motion to add budget note. No further motions to amend were discussed and the vote was taken on the first motion to approve the budget as presented. |
