15:43 Maria good evening I'm Maria maragy I live at 1335 B who in Bravo Street um I last spoke to the Council on September 16th regarding problematic issues in the public right of way commonly known as transient alley um it's located between A and B Streets it's bordered by 12th and 14th Street and it adjoins my property uh to follow up with you uh the situation has improved and on behalf of my neighbors and myself I want to thank everybody who has contributed and given support to this positive turn um especially the responders um and and those from specifically uh the police department and the department of uh

16:29 development in public works it is appreciated um after the last meeting um Jeff at DMW proposed a vegetation removal along that right away and it would include Sheltering canopies and create a clear line of sight down the alley um some of that removal has been accomplished but it did fall short of that ultimate goal and I'm really hoping that resources can be allocated uh in the near future to complete that work I think that it will further along um some of our our safety or mitigating some of our safety concerns Chief sheer also made a commitment to assign focused resources and increase patrols and that's welcomed

17:15 and appreciated I hope that that too will continue so far the camping extended occupation and disruptive behaviors has just decreased since I last spoke that said last Monday night I awoke to an open or last Monday morning sorry I awoke to an open fire adjacent to live and dead V vegetation in the right of way uh behind the church next door the vegetation is continuous fuel to my wood fence and others property uh I reported the fire and later requested overnight patrols of the alley needless to say uh with winter coming this increased fire danger is an additional concern to us yesterday evening I called

18:00 Police Department non-emergency line to report an individual that was occupying a favorite space uh directly behind my house for several hours um the response was delayed I expect due to other activities um and I don't know if contact was made I'm not going to take your time to relist the safety and health issues and illegal activity that results from traffic and occupation um in the right of way unless you need me to I don't think you do um but I do look forward to continue progress on the cleanup of the right of way and if not already that the police department um make standard operating procedure to randomly um perform patrols of this and
